"You can’t do today’s job with yesterday’s methods and be in business tomorrow"
-George W. Bush
At the turn of the 20th century, oil drillers in Texas found great quantities of oil and gas only hundreds of feet below the surface of the land. A lot has changed in the last 100 years, or so. Now, drilling one or two miles, or more, beneath the surface of the earth is an everyday occurrence. Aided by high definition 3-D seismic, enhanced drilling and completion techniques and contemporary production facilities, today’s oil and gas drilling ventures have a pronounced scientific edge.
Our goal is to exploit these new technologies as they emerge, in an effort to minimize the inherent risk of not finding reserves while maximizing the potential returns. Millennium has a uniquely successful strategy for finding oil and gas that blends the intuition of seasoned exploration personnel with credible and verifiable proof of the possible existence of reserves, further supported by the ever increasing precision of high-resolution seismic imagery. This proprietary strategy gives Millennium and its partners substantial leverage in minimizing the possibility of dry holes.
