Over the past 19 years, Mr. Monroy has accumulated valuable knowledge and numerous industry accolades for achievements and innovations. He has been involved in nearly all oil and gas industry facets for almost two decades as a professional financier, investor, and developer. Concept creation, project financing, and mineral property acquisition are among his various areas of expertise. Mr. Monroy’s creative eye for opportunity, acuity for oil and gas transactions, and his passion for creating a stable, mechanized, and dynamic company are the driving forces behind Millennium’s continued success.
Before founding the Millennium group of companies, Mr. Monroy was a licensed securities broker, explicitly focused on oil and gas project funding. During this time, he developed a proficiency in project financing and a reputation for candor, imagination, and leadership. His vision compelled him to assemble a team of talented experts to play crucial roles in developing the most ambitious and well-crafted ventures on the market. Our team continues to grow and is now proudly celebrating its fifteenth year in business.
Mr. Monroy believes that success as an entrepreneurial business owner stems from unequaled conviction to imagination, boldness, tenacity, and reputation - Millennium's Core Values. He is an active member of the Texas Independent Royalty Owners Association, Independent Petroleum Association of America, San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, Texas Alliance of Energy Producers, National Association of Royalty Owners, Better Business Bureau, and Texas Oil and Gas Association.
Senior Vice President of Operations
At 77, Mr. Stinziano brings more than thirty years of South Texas oil and gas operating expertise to Millennium PetroCapital Corporation as our Vice President of Operations. Mr. Stinziano entered the oil and gas industry in 1985 as General Manager of Brandon and Steele in Los Angeles, California. In 1987, Mr. Stinziano formed and acted as President of Gerwin-Stinziano Securities, Inc., a FINRA firm specializing in the funding and managing of producing oil and gas properties in South Texas. The firm was also active in movie and video production funding in the Los Angeles, California, area. At that time, Mr. Stinziano was an invitational speaker at a UCLA symposium on the financing of public and private placements in the movie industry.
In 1991, Mr. Stinziano moved to San Antonio, Texas, to open a Gerwin-Stinziano Securities branch. He simultaneously served as President of Stinger Oil and Gas, Inc. He supervised the day-to-day operation of over one hundred oil and gas wells.
From 2002 to 2012, Mr. Stinziano acted as Registered Principal for Trinity Securities Inc., again specializing in the funding of energy investments in South Texas. From 2012 to 2015, Mr. Stinziano served as Vice President of operations for Republic Resources, LLC, an oil and gas operating company and an affiliate of Trinity Securities, Inc.
Senior Vice President of Corporate Development
Armed with multiple college degrees and over a decade of business and management expertise, Mr. Hand joined Millennium in June of 2015. He promptly rose in the ranks to become Vice President of Investor Relations in August of 2016, then Senior Vice President of Corporate Development in May of 2020. Since that time, Mr. Hand has redesigned our procedures for new business development and client retention. Mr. Hand also oversees all company associates' training and development concerning company protocol, policy and procedures, product knowledge, and client participation recommendations.
Before joining Millennium, Mr. Hand received his degree in Applied Science in Architecture from San Antonio College. After focusing on Restaurant Design, Mr. Hand also received an Associate in Applied Science in Culinary Arts from the Texas Culinary Academy Le Cordon Bleu in 2005. With over 13 years of Restaurant design and management experience, Mr. Hand played an integral part in the growth, design, development, and implementation of multiple businesses that are still thriving today.
Senior Vice President of Investor Relations
Mr. Guckian holds a BA in Business Administration from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. During his time at Trinity, he was a three-time All-Conference defensive player and captain of the university’s football team. After a brief career in professional sports, Mr. Guckian founded a thriving fitness center and, through his success, became a specialized industry consultant. Mr. Guckian consulted with franchise owners within the fitness industry on business management and marketing techniques, among other disciplines. As a published author in his field and continued work as a strength coach and trainer, he secured an honorary Master’s Degree in physical education. Mr. Guckian established himself in the entertainment industry as a professional actor and stunt man with many feature films to his credit and as the host of a successful fitness series with a worldwide audience.
Before joining Millennium PetroCapital Corporation, Mr. Guckian began his career in the oil and gas industry in 2008. During that time, he developed a specialization in energy projects’ funding. Mr. Guckian originally served as a licensed securities broker holding a Series 22 and Series 63 securities license. He later attained a Series 39 Principal’s License when promoted to Vice President for Trinity Securities, Inc. He participated in the funding of numerous oil and gas development projects throughout Texas, where he garnered a reputation for professionalism and integrity.
Vice President of Exploration - Senior Geologist
Mr. Brake graduated from Stephen F. Austin University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in Geology, with a concentration in Physics. He has been in the Oil and Gas industry for over 30 years. Over the years, his duties and experience have included oil and gas prospect generation and due diligence, review, research, investor relations, and field operations. He also provides geological knowledge, mapping, mud log, e-log evaluation, well-site geology, and well completion experience in Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana.
Since 2001, Mr. Brake has owned and operated JB Geo Logic, Inc., a geological consulting firm. He specializes in determining reservoir characteristics, compiling production data, obtaining mineral leases, writing geological reports, and preparing display materials. Mr. Brake also specializes in making formal presentations to potential investors, administrate business, and subcontract professional services as needed.
Mr. Brake joined the Millennium companies in early 2013 as Vice President of Exploration, where he oversees all geological aspects of oil and gas projects sponsored by the firm. Mr. Brake and contracted geologists, geophysicists, engineers, and Millennium’s senior management work together to select and acquire the company’s oil and gas properties and drilling prospects.
Vice President of Investor Relations
Before joining the Millennium group of companies in 2008, Mr. Jahns was a licensed Series 22 and Series 63 securities broker. In this position, he specialized in oil and natural gas investment funding. Mr. Jahns has also spent nearly two decades developing experience in the oil and gas industry and geotechnical community while working with Fugro-McClelland Marine Geosciences, Inc.
Mr. Jahns is 45 years old and a native South Texan. He serves as Millennium’s Vice President of Investor Relations. He has spent many years developing invaluable relationships with private and institutional investors. Mr. Jahns is also instrumental in securing industry partners, making Mr. Jahns an integral part of the continued growth and success of the Millennium family of companies.
Field Operations Superintendent
Mr. Staples is a dedicated professional who brings 44 years of progressive, hands-on oilfield experience to the Millennium family. His areas of expertise are numerous and include onsite supervision of all field operations. Mr. Staples' expertise also includes cost projections, well-completion procedures, troubleshooting down-hole, troubleshooting surface problems, production planning, scheduling, and preventive maintenance.
In 1974, Mr. Staples started right out of high school in his family-owned oil field service business. He managed the daily operations of multiple drilling and workover rigs and an 80-person staff. Mr. Staple’s experience in this family enterprise also included running its oil field supply store and pump repair shop. This collective experience made him an indispensable problem solver. Mr. Staples has a proven record of invaluable contributions. Being a results-oriented leader, Mr. Staples lends his decades of experience to company projects, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and cost control.
Over the years, Mr. Staples went on to own his own oilfield service company, which operated in Texas and Oklahoma. Before joining Millennium, Mr. Staples was the Production Superintendent for a San Antonio-based operator where, for 16 years, he ran the day-to-day field operations.
In the crucial position of Administrative Assistant with Millennium PetroCapital Corporation, Ms. Kline proves her value daily. Her experience as a legal assistant to the partners of two distinguished Chicago, Illinois, law firms has provided her with the business acumen her position requires. Her experience in office management, organization, and administrative duties makes her a valuable member of the Millennium team.
Ms. Kline moved to San Antonio in 2017 and is successfully assisting our Executive Team in the areas of project development and execution, scheduling, and secretarial duties. Ms. Kline’s assistance in the day-to-day managerial aspects of Millennium has contributed significantly to our continued success.
